Monitoring Officers Transmitter (MOT)

The Monitoring Officers Transmitter is a key fob sized radio transmitter resembling an electronic car key used by Monitoring Officers when visiting subjects at their curfew locations.

The MOT is designed to:

The radio signal contains the unique identity of the Monitoring Officers Transmitter and is detected by any Site Monitoring Unit, GSM Site Monitoring Unit or Field Management Unit within range.

Arrival and Departure

When a Monitoring Officer attends a curfew location, the Site Monitoring Unit or GSM Site Monitoring Unit picks up the radio signal from the Monitoring Officers Transmitter confirming the Monitoring Officers arrival at the place of curfew.

Panic Alarm

The Monitoring Officers Transmitter incorporates a panic button to provide added security protection when visiting subjects at curfew locations.

When the panic alarm is activated the Site Monitoring Unit or GSM Site Monitoring Unit in the vicinity will immediately notify the Control Centre.
