Voice Verification
Voice Verification is an alternative means of monitoring where other methods may not be appropriate.
Voice Verification can be applied:
- In conjunction with an Electronically Monitored Curfew Order
- As part of a condition for the early release from prison
- As a condition of bail
- In association with a Court Order
Everybody has different shaped vocal chords which give us our own unique voice. Using biometric technology, we are able to take a person's voiceprint and integrate it into our monitoring software to identify each individual by their voice alone.
Voice Verification allows a person to be monitored using scheduled or random verification calls to ensure they are present at certain locations during specified times.
Based on a person's voiceprint and the 'caller line identity' of the telephone line, the monitoring software will determine whether or not the correct person is calling from the required location.
Scheduled Calls
These are verification calls made at set times to specified locations to ensure compliance is being maintained.
Random Calls
Notification is given to a person to inform that they will receive a series of verification calls at random intervals over a certain period of time.
This method of calling ensures a person remains present at the required location for the duration of the notified time period.
As with Electronic Monitoring, if a violation occurs, an alert will be raised.
Multiple Locations
Voice Verification allows a person to be monitored at any number of locations such as work or education. It is not limited to a person's home.
